Review: BECCA Collector’s Edition Glow Body Stick “Champagne Pop”

I generally like anything that “glows” from BECCA. Their powders are great, the shimmering body oil with Chrissy Teigan was great, I also loved the shimmering skin perfectors in various shades(in my case my favorite were rose gold, champagne pop, and the topaz?shade) so when I saw the glow body stick I was instantly like I’m buying this. Talk about a good choice. Its fail proof it doesn’t transfer as much as other tinted/bronzing body products and I’ve tried a couple other ones and the shade is so natural looking yet stunning. I like to rub the stick all over my arms and my neck. The scent is beautiful and summer-y I think it was worth every penny and will be my summer grab and go item mind you, this body stick is HUGE and bulky and I don’t care!

Its a twist-type stick a little goes a long way and the color payoff is amazing. The ingredients keep your skin from getting dry so what are you waiting for, bronzer enthusiasts go grab one! I may have to purchase a back up stick!

Review: BECCA x Chrissy Teigen body & hair oil

One of the awesome stores I do business hooked me up with a glass bottle sample of the Becca x Chrissy Teigen shimmering oil and I was super excited to write about it. Initially I thought it would be darker and give me a more sunkissed look but…sadly it is more clear with hints of glitter/shimmer but it smells pretty. I’m guessing its kinda floral and a bit tropical. Its not quite coconut-y like most shimmering body oils smell. I do think its moisturizing and if I had the extra money lying around I would still get a bottle because I just love Chrissy and I wouldn’t have to wear perfume with this oil on.

If I were to rate this its a 8/10 because I wanted more color payoff the whole sunkissed look. I’m very interested in the other items she put out too. Looks really pretty.

Finishing Powders by Becca

I wanted to make sure to use both powders I bought in order to write reviews on them so here are the two Becca cosmetics powders I bought: the soft light blurring powder and the shimmering skin perfector pressed in lilac geode.

Becca’s soft light blurring powder is in this elegant simple icecube looking screw jar packaging it comes nicely sealed and one thing I learned with loose powders is don’t peel off the full seal. Its a bad idea you’ll end up with product oozing out onto the upper lid so that is my main advice because you only need a dime size or so. I used it with and without product underneath and because my skin needs more help being that my skin is dry and I don’t have perfect skin to begin with…I use a cc cream or a foundation let it sink in then brush a dime size little by little over my face. I personally thought the more time passed it looked dewy and amazing.

Onto the Becca shimmering skin perfector pressed in lilac geode. The compact is so cool. The outer part has the usual Becca engraving in the round part but the corner areas that surround it is lilac. Once you open the product you are immediately drawn the pinky-lilac shade which I find universal. This is another product I think you shouldn’t overdo because you will end up too shiny and it will bulk up on your skin so brush it lightly in a circular motion or from your nose area. I think its perfect for the winter and I love carrying it in my bag because its so pretty. Don’t know why I didn’t try the pressed powders until now really.

I also bought the under eye brightener which I plan to write about once I use it more.
