I suffer from dry, coarse thick hair. Its been an issue since late November. I’m really on a lookout for a shampoo more than anything and I found my product in the L’occitane repairing shampoo! Lucky for me while on travel in Japan I made a couple purchases at a L’occitane shop. One of the employees there was like you should try this sample and I was like ooh hair stuff sure. I saved it at the time since my hair was in much better condition. Now its dry coarse my scalp also dry. This shampoo covered every issue its very velvety to the touch clear and everything I’d want in a shampoo minus the fact that if you’re sensitive there is SLS and its smells quite natural almost medicinal herbal. I was asked today about what products I use on my hair! I was like humble brag ” sample from L’occitane” the shampoo and conditioner rinse out nice I finished my look with some oribe star glow wax just a small amount scrunched it to bring out my waves.
I am seriously a huge fan of kajal eyeliner. They have great selections from the bigger brands out at the fancier cosmetic stores. I saw a nice color from Laura Mercier but I decided I’d give Maybelline a try. I’ve used Maybelline mascara since I was a teen so I knew of the brand. I bought midnight brown first its a dark brown which really works for any hair color or eyecolor its not as bold as black. I just found out there is a navy night color which reminds me of a darker version of the L’oreal mascara I already use daily so I got that and it is so good. I switch between the two on and off but if I want to seem more simple navy night kajal and L’oreal blue voluminous and I look like I tried hard and people compliment me like crazy. In terms of eye makeup, I may never pay over $15 for any products anymore unless L’oreal marks up the mascara because I love the mascara so much. If they discontinue blue I’ll be bummed because its a staple of mine.
My mom is now a new convert to Neutrogena and she tells me there is an eye makeup removing pad out now I was all ears. I have the hooded lid issue and sometimes when I try to look good I’ll do a smoky or winged liner look and it takes something heavy duty that doesn’t come off. My choice of eyeliner being waterproof or something kajal(which is another drugstore find I plan to write about here next)
She bought the round jar last week and its been such a blessing. I was a big fan of the Clinique take the day off eye makeup remover but the price was steadily going up and it was hard on my eyes when i’d accidentally drip some into the corners of my eyes. So this mess proof not too thin reversible eye makeup remover for sensitive skin was exactly what I was searching for. The pads are thicker than most cotton pads and lets say you got most of your eye makeup off but need more off flip the pad over and wipe the remainder on the opposite side
I’d almost file this under drugstore find but in my case I found this deodorant I’ve been lusting after at Target! I read about the deodorant through beauty editors and it was high on my list to try. I try to go as natural as I can. I can honestly tell you some of the natural stuff does NOT work. I’ve tried different brands and as much as I love my Malin+Goetz I need something more convenient and affordable especially during the hot summer months.
I ended up purchasing the bergamot and lime one the green one and it smells just as it says. The brand carries different variety of scents. Floral like rose and I believe there is a sandalwood type one too..which is my next choice. I paid about 7-10bucks for the item and I couldn’t say enough about this lovely natural deodorant. I’m definitely purchasing another one when I use it up.
I had seen the set a while back and I knew from the moment I saw the two choices that my preference was the mod collection. I finally bought it and I am so glad I did. It is incredible. If someone as dry and sensitive as me needs a pick me up and doesn’t want to clutter her makeup bag the signature set is “the item”
So heres what I know is in there (all in smaller size than the original put into a flat palette) the living luminizer, master mixer, the skin and lip balm I think that’s what that’s called in cocoa and possibly a nice coral orange lip to cheek item…that’s the one I wanted to try all this time! Taking it with me on travel for sure!
I bought the Garnier cleansing water(red lid) a couple weeks ago and I started using it this past week and I really like it. Dont get me wrong I still love my KGD spa water but its pricey and since I have to go through the nightmare of ordering and waiting for both the Bioderma and KGD I can just go to a drugstore spend less than $10 and grab a 13.5 oz bottle of this! I love cleansing waters on lazy days. I’ll soak 2 cottons with it because sometimes one cotton can’t take off all my tinted sunscreen! No reactions to the product and if im not wrong (dont quote me on this)I paid under 7 bucks for the Garnier cleansing water! Its fabulous!
