After realizing I was running out of my last bottle of DHC cleansing oil, I thought about what cleansing oils were out on the market that were made for sensitive skin and under $30, I came across the burt’s bees one. I had been thinking about buying that cleansing oil for quite some time but I wasn’t sure. I saw the ingredients, the pricepoint and I was like whatever i’ll get it. WHAT A GOOD BUY. its 100% natural, its 6oz for about $15-17 depeneding on where you buy it. The scent is mild for something that has coconut in it and one pump is almost too much to cleanse off about 3 layers of my sunscreen I wear daily. So now as much as I hate to part with my dermalogica precleanse and my DHC cleansing oil, I’m excited to introduce my dry sensitive skin to burt’s bees! Next on my list their rose water
So its almost that time when I decide where to travel and my heart is set on the west coast. I always pack too much. I packed very little on my overseas trip yet I packed everything on my island getaway. Very unnecessary and I realized I had over the pack limit yet the nice guy was like ah its creams. Sorry guy!
So this time around I’m debating sample sized shampoo some makeup wipes but I do I take eye cream? has anyone given the Becca under eye brightener a try? I want that. I have dark eye circles. lol
I don’t know about everyone else but the winter was harsh on my hair. Not only was my hair dry it tangled and it lacked shine. I tried all sorts of products and realizing there were two items that worked perfect together.
What I started using for a month or so is the Rita Hazan triple threat split end remedy then I squeeze a nickel size of the oribe supershine moisturizing cream for shine. Not only does my hair smell like heaven I can airdry or blow dry with no hassle. Had I known the oribe cream was so good I would’ve bought 2 tubes! The great thing I found out was that the lighter version is an option for thinner hair and the supershine moisturizing the one I use is for thick coarse wavy/curly hair and some places carry the travel 1.7 oz size! Worth a try!
Dr. Jart+ dermaclear micro water
Suntegrity 5 in 1 moisturizing face sunscreen tinted
diorshow nude bb cream spf 10 the 2nd shade
Dr. Brandt microdermabrasion (the black tube scrub as I call it)
In the past month or so, I had realized I was spending way too much money on makeup removers. I had to actually order things to get them so I figured not only will I save more money, I can save time. So one afternoon I bought like 4 different ones I hadn’t tried. I needed something that wiped off most of my sunscreen….and my favorite was: Neutrogena.
I actually bought both the scented and the unscented. I prefer original scented one. The scent is so good don’t know what it is…just so pretty and I don’t even like scented skincare that much. You get 25 wipes for under $5. I like to get mine at Target or Walmart they give you best prices.
Last but not least all things eucalyptus! I am currently obsessed with the Malin+Goetz deodorant. I try my best to steer far away from deodorants with aluminum in it but they always worked the best….but I tried to look for natural deodorants without…charcoal I think something about it makes my skin burn)and after about 4 trials and errors, I found the M+G deodorant. It smells like the blue Halls cough drop in a good way light, clean. I only use it once in the morning after I shower and I don’t ever have to reapply its so easy and wonderful.
